I help people buy and sell real estate with a clear, steady approach. My strength is bringing people together towards a common goal, and moving transactions forward without unnecessary friction. Clients appreciate that I’m friendly, knowledgeable, and direct, and they come back because they trust me and how I work.
For sellers, I manage the entire process from strategy to close. I position and market the property effectively, identify the right buyers, and negotiate strong terms; all while keeping everything on track behind the scenes. Real estate transactions have a lot of people and tasks involved, and I manage the process so you don’t have to.
For buyers and investors, I act as both guide and filter. I help you figure out your priorities, narrow the search, and stay focused on what actually matters - budget, risk, and long-term value. I won’t try to “sell” you on a property. Instead, I will point out both the good things and potential issues so you can make an informed decision. The goal is simple: getting you the best property you want for the best terms, with minimal surprises and a process that feels manageable from start to finish.
About
I’m not just a real estate broker; I’m a people person. I enjoy connecting with clients and love people, puppies, puns, and the planet. My wife, daughter and I share a love of travel; together we’ve explored more than 25 countries!
Background
Originally from a wonderful family in a Northwest suburb of Chicago, I earned a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University, while finishing college at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, NSW Australia. I moved to California's Bay Area and then spent two years earning an MBA in both Management and Entrepreneurship from San Diego State University.
My career has been broad and practical; from sales (including Monopoly games and mortgages) to freelance TV production, to consulting businesses on improving profitability through marketing, operations, and financial strategy.
Driven by a passion for sustainability, in 1999 I helped launch a pilot program to sell home solar electric systems through Home Depot. Once that was going I worked on the development of the first alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) dealership and fueling station in the United States.
Before residential real estate sales, I worked in the mortgage industry as both a loan officer and bank representative.
When our daughter was born I stayed at home with her while remodeling a fixer house and building my real estate business.
Today, I’m a licensed Real Estate Broker in California, a REALTOR®, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I'm also ready to help you!
Outside of Real Estate
At home, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching great movies, and occasionally making fun of bad ones. I stay active with my daughter; whether that means playing sports, cheering her on in flag football and track, or supporting her work reviewing films and interviewing actors, directors, and producers for the Kids First! Network.
While my days of extreme sports are mostly behind me, I still look for ways to stay adventurous; whether that’s mountain unicycling, working in the garden, or gaining new skills in Artificial Intelligence.
Let’s Connect
